Rebecca Backman, MS, LCMHC, LPC, NCC

Psychotherapist, Owner

M.S. in Mental Health Counseling from Westminster College in Salt Lake City, Utah

I am dedicated to supporting adults and couples on their journey toward transformative change and long-term healing. My belief is that many of the challenges we encounter are rooted in trauma, intricate relationship dynamics (both with oneself and others), and patterns that emerge from navigating difficulties without the necessary tools. Together, we will explore these complexities, fostering positive transformations.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in humanistic principles, enriched with psychodynamic and existential themes. I tailor evidence-based interventions to suit each client's unique needs, drawing on my training in DBT, CBT, EMDR, and the Gottman Method. With experience in addressing family and relationship conflicts, parenting challenges, grief and loss, substance use dependence, as well as self-esteem and identity issues, I bring a comprehensive perspective to our sessions.

Collaboration and trust form the bedrock of our therapeutic relationship. You are the expert on your own life, and my role is to facilitate change, growth, and insight into the challenges you face. Together, we will embark on a journey of positive change, self-compassion, and healing. I am here to support you every step of the way.

Thank you for considering my practice as your partner in wellness. I look forward to the opportunity to work together and help you achieve your therapeutic goals.
